Assalam-0-alikum , my question is very basic. I ve so many christian frnds who every time keep askin question abt Islam. my first question is why Muhammad (pbuh) married Hazrat Ayesha at the age of 9 or 11 or 13. there was a big age difference. my second question is why v ve to pray in arabic language. cant v pray in english or mny other language coz Allah understand all languages. i ill b waiting fr the answers. answer to your first question is that the marriage with ayesha r.a was not the first marriage . nabi saww married with hazrat khateeja while he was 25 and she was 40 years old. if nauzobillah nabi saww eager to fulfil his desires then why he married a women older than him. while your question about marrying her in little age , at that time there was tradition in arab to marry young girls. and its was not any sort of disgrace in arabic tradition at that time and in islam when girl adopts the pubilty age she can be married and at the age of 13 years she got pubit. second part of your question. Islam is the relign of principles, one is to pray and other is asking from Allah that means dua. so the principle of worship in islam is to pray as nabi saww prayed which we call sunnat and every obidient follow his prophets way of worship , while dua can be in any language. so this is the difference
